Dhobi Ghat
Dhobi Ghat, located in Mumbai, India, is a renowned open-air laundromat where clothes are washed and line-dried. Workers diligently wash, and dry clothes from households, hotels, and hospitals across the city. The unique aspect of Dhobi Ghat lies in its system of washing and returning clothes without the use of modern technologies.
Colours, different textures, smell of strong detergents, wet floor as a background of what is actually a working factory is what comes to my mind thinking about this place.
